Little Common Ramblers 1st XI head to St Peters Cricket Club in Brighton for their Intersport Trophy Quarter-Final Fixture, 2pm start.
The Ramblers will field a number of changes from the win last week at East Dean including a first team debut for Tom Powell. Tom joins from Bexhill Cricket Club with a fine record of over 4000 runs including 23 fifties and 3 hundreds in his time at Bexhill and Hastings Priory. The Ramblers can also welcome back Tom Crathern, Chris Meredith and Tom Constable.
Skipper Jon Meredith said ahead of the fixture “We know we’ve got a tough draw – St Peters were winners of the league above us last year. We know they’re going to be strong and we know they have resources we don’t have. Having said that, for an early season fixture availability is good and we have a strong team that can beat anyone.”
The line up is as followed:
Tom Crathern
Tom Powell
Tom Rose
Alex Coombs
Jon Meredith (c)
Mark Hopkinson
Chris Meredith (wk)
