Little Common Ramblers 1st XI kick off their campaign at home to a strong Newick side this weekend.
The Ramblers have been forced not to field Berwick Smith and captain Jon Meredith, which has given opportunities to other batsmen. Mark Hopkinson will captain the side in Jon’s absence.
Jon said ahead of the match “I’m delighted the season is underway having had a great winter of net sessions. Availability hasn’t been great across the club but it’s testament of the depth we have we can put out a strong side. I’m gutted I can’t be there on the day but have full confidence in Mark and the side.”
